Distinct de la représentation, il a une fonction signifiante (première topique) ; l’indistinction affect-représentation (seconde topique) exige un travail psychique pour accéder au sens. Trente ans plus tard (1999) André Green montre que, dans ses différentes modalités, l’affect sert l’émergence d’une aire intermédiaire manquante dans les structures non névrotiques. Il enseignait avec passion une pensée clinique contemporaine. |

| Summary, etc. | “Affect” (1970) is drive movement in relation to the object and narcissism. Distinct from representation, it has a signifying function (first topography); the lack of distinction between affect and representation (second topography) requires a psychic work to gain access to meaning. Thirty years later (1999) André Green showed that, in its different forms, affect serves the emergence of an intermediary area that is missing in non-neurotic structures. He taught contemporary clinical thinking with passion. |
