| Summary, etc. | Après l’épidémie de Covid-19, l’analyse à distance va probablement se généraliser. Elle ne diffère de l’analyse telle qu’on l’avait conduite jusqu’à maintenant que par l’absence des corps du patient et de l’analyste dans la même pièce. Dans l’analyse « normale », cette présence des corps mobilise de part et d’autre des désirs sexuels et agressifs qui sont aussitôt refoulés. Le Surmoi inconscient veille à ce qu’aucune représentation de ces désirs ne fasse retour vers la conscience, jusqu’à ce qu’un rejeton du refoulé suffisamment déguisé échappe à son attention. Cette représentation insolite se détache nettement sur le fond neutre créé par le refoulement. Elle mène à l’interprétation. L’analyse à distance protège l’analyste et le patient de tout risque de réalisation de leurs désirs. Elle relâche donc l’attention inconsciente du Surmoi, et libère la parole du patient. Mais l’analyste doit faire un effort accru d’attention consciente pour interpréter. À côté du Surmoi interdicteur post-œdipien, le surmoi protecteur post-adolescent joue un rôle décisif dans la possibilité pour un patient d’associer librement sans voir le visage de son analyste, en présence ou à distance. |

| Summary, etc. | After the Covid-19 epidemic, remote analysis will probably become more generalized. It only differs from analysis as conducted hitherto by the absence of the bodies of the patient and of the analyst in the same room. In “normal” analysis, this presence of bodies mobilizes on both sides sexual and aggressive desires that are immediately repressed. The unconscious superego sees to it that no representation of these desires makes its return towards consciousness, until a sufficiently disguised derivative of the repressed escapes its attention. This strange representation clearly stands out against the neutral background created by repression. It leads to interpretation. Remote analysis protects the analyst and the patient from any risk of fulfilling their desires. It therefore loosens the unconscious attention of the superego and liberates the patient’s speech. But the analyst must make increased efforts of conscious attention in order to interpret. Alongside the post-oedipal prohibitive superego, the post-adolescent protective superego plays a decisive role in making it possible for the patient to associate freely without seeing his analyst’s face, whether in his presence or at a distance. |

Éste solo difiere del análisis desarrollado hasta ahora por la ausencia del cuerpo del paciente y del analista en la misma habitación. En el análisis “normal”, la presencia de los cuerpos moviliza los deseos sexuales y agresivos de ambos, que inmediatamente se reprimen. El superyó inconsciente vigila a que ninguna representación de los deseos irrumpa en la conciencia, hasta que un retoño de lo reprimido ampliamente disfrazado eluda su atención. La representación insólita se separa claramente del fondo neutro creado por la represión y lleva a la interpretación. El análisis a distancia protege al analista y al paciente de todo riesgo de realización de sus deseos. Relaja pues la atención inconsciente del Superyó, y libera el habla del paciente. Pero el analista tiene que forzar su atención consciente para interpretar. Junto al Superyó prohibidor posedípico, el superyó protector pos-adolescente desempeña un papel crucial ente la posibilidad del paciente de asociar libremente sin ver la cara del analista, presente o a distancia. |
