| Summary, etc. | Le propos de l’article, Ville nouvelle de Val-de-Reuil, un patrimoine en devenir, est, autour de la notion de «patrimoine de villes nouvelles», de confronter les intentions des concepteurs de la ville nouvelle de Val-de-Reuil fondée en 1967, concrétisées par l’invention du «Germe de ville», concept mis au point de 1968 à 1975 (pose de la première pierre), et la réalisation, de 1975 aux années 1990, face à la réalité du terrain. Il est surtout d’étudier le processus de construction et de développement de la ville nouvelle après cette phase expérimentale, son évolution après l’abandon de son statut en 1995 pour devenir commune à part entière; enfin d’identifier ce qui constitue son patrimoine au moment où elle fait l’objet d’une importante Opération de Renouvellement urbain qui touche l’ensemble de l’agglomération. |

| Summary, etc. | Val-de-Rueil, new town patrimony The purpose of this article is, at once to explain the notion of «patrimoine des villes nouvelles», and to confront the intents of the creators of the new city ValdeReuil founded in 1967, with its realization. This concept called «Germe de ville» has been developped in 1968 and the building of the town lasted from 1975 to 1980. But before all, this article shows the building process so as the development of a new city after an experimental period. Finally it allows the identification of the patrimony, just as an important process of «renouvellement urbain» will soon take place on the whole agglomeration. |
