Le problème de la diffusion des programmes est le principal obstacle rencontré par La Sept dans l’affirmation de son ambition européenne. Soutenue par une volonté politique ferme, elle est rapidement destinée à devenir un élément constitutif d’un ensemble franco-allemand. La coopération franco-allemande, qui aboutit à la création d’ARTE, est l’occasion de véritables négociations sur la question de la création d’une chaîne culturelle européenne. |

La Sept was a French broadcasting company whose mission was to prepare a future European cultural channel.
