Les arguments de Bonaventure montrent également que les débuts du monarchisme philosophique ont précédé la réapparition de la Politique ; (b) à dévoiler l’incohérence irréductible des raisonnements politiques de Thomas ; (c) à élucider certains problèmes structurels de son De regno. |

| Summary, etc. | The article intends (a) to show that Thomas Aquinas based the majority of his arguments in favour of monarchy on the Ethics commentaries of Grosseteste and Albertus Magnus. The arguments of Bonaventure also prove that the origins of philosophical arguments in favour of monarchy preceded the reappearance of the Politics ; (b) to point out the ultimate incoherence of the political ideas of Thomas Aquinas ; (c) to illuminate some structural problems in his De regno. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDer Aufsatz will erweisen (a) dass die Argumente des Thomas Aquinas für die Monarchie grösstenteils den Ethik-Kommentaren von Robert Grosseteste bzw. von Albertus Magnus entliehen sind. Die Argumente bei Bonaventura lassen auch bestätigen, dass die Anfänge der philosophischen Argumentation für die Monarchie vor die Wiederentdeckung der aristotelischen Politik zu setzten sind ; (b) dass Thomas’ politische Prinzipien letzten Endes inkohärent sind ; und (c) dass einige strukturellen Probleme seines De regno in ein neues Licht gerückt werden können. |
