| Summary, etc. | Face à la crise de l’énergie, le G7 fournit en 1975 aux principaux dirigeants occidentaux un cadre où leurs analyses se traduisirent par des mesures de coordination sans déboucher sur une politique commune. Les divergences sur le cadre d’application politique et la persistance d’intérêts nationaux concurrents conduisirent à l’émergence de structures de concertation à la fois assez institutionnalisées pour perdurer malgré les désaccords politiques et assez souples pour préserver l’autonomie des politiques nationales. |

Political divergences about the implementing framework of the energy policy and the persistence of competing national interests led to consultation structures that were enough institutionalised to resist political disagreements, and supple enough to preserve the autonomy of national policies. |
