Las obras singulares no son «imágenes», aunque hoy en día las veamos más a menudo «como imágenes». La corrección de la estética radica en su capacidad para mirar las obras de arte, en este caso una pintura contemporánea, y tratar de captar el conocimiento sensible que hace visible. Este conocimiento sensible alimenta un sensus communis, desafía la compasión y restaura a la piedad su función en una educación estética. |
