| Summary, etc. | A pesar de su «naturalismo», la ética aristotélica apenas valora la figura del niño. No conforme a la naturaleza (kata phusin), el niño debe más bien ser rectificado en sus tendencias espontáneas. Obsesionado con el placer, parece ser casi anárquico por naturaleza. Debido a que la infancia es racional y por lo tanto sólo potencialmente humana, Aristóteles sólo retiene de ella las deficiencias. El niño está enfermizamente débil, es físicamente desproporcionado y sobre todo irrazonable. Parece más cercano al animal que al hombre maduro. Cuestionar el valor de la infancia nos invita a redefinir lo que entendemos por «naturalismo» cuando hablamos de la ética de Aristóteles. |
