Journalistic photography characterized by spectacularization and drama provoke punctual informative increases and structural unfocused informative treatment on the immigration and refugees question. The turning point about the way journalism addresses these questions is conditioned by the phenomena of spectacularization and emotivism. As a example, it can be seen in the information about the Syrian conflict that has caused the biggest refugees crisis in the XXI century. The information about the evolution of the conflict had a daily basis presence in the social media. |

| Summary, etc. | Los fenómenos de la inmigración y los refugiados están presentes en la agenda social y mediática de nuestro mundo globalizado. Los procesos de integración personal y social dependen de los imaginarios creados a través d ellos medios de comunicación en la sociedad receptoras. Las imágenes marcadas por la espectacularización y el dramatismo provocan incrementos puntuales informativos y desenfoques estructurales en el volumen de contenido periodístico dedicado a esta cuestión. El punto de inflexión sobre el tratamiento informativo dado a la cuestión de los inmigrantes y refugiados está condicionado por los fenómenos de la espectacularización y el emotivismo. Así lo demuestran las referencias a la información sobre el conflicto armado en Siria que dio lugar a la mayor crisis de desplazados del territorio de la historia del siglo XXI. La información suministrada por los medios de comunicación sobre el desarrollo del conflicto tuvo presencia permanente. |
