| Summary, etc. | The article presents the struggles of rural workers in Brazil, valuing the wealth of these struggles in moments when they were made invisible both by the dictatorship and by preconceived visions of who would be the subjects of the struggles for agrarian reform. The research universe is the region of Ribeirão Preto and Araraquara, in the state of São Paulo, that expresses the contradictions between a highly modernized agriculture and the proletarianization of a large contingent of workers. From this context, the construction of a methodology centered on the workers' experiences is prioritized, calling attention to the specificities of the struggles, without deduced the objective conditions, but including the imagination of its agents, by the lived experiences and by the identification of their interests. |

O universo empírico da pesquisa é a região de Ribeirão Preto e Araraquara, no estado de São Paulo, representativa das contradições entre uma agricultura produtivista e a proletarização de um amplo contingente de trabalhadores. A partir deste contexto, propõe-se uma metodologia centrada nas especificidades das lutas, não deduzidas das condições objetivas, mas marcada pelas experiências vividas pelos trabalhadores e pela identificação de seus interesses. |
