| Summary, etc. | Ayant eu connaissance de l’existence d’un inventaire d’une habitation appelée Le Bonnet, située à Saint-Domingue (actuelle Haïti) conservé aux archives départementales de Belfort sous la côte 1J1127, nous avons voulu comprendre le lien existant entre Belfort et l’esclavage colonial.Dans cette quête, il est apparu que l’habitation a, sur une courte période (1754-1772), pas moins de 8 propriétaires successifs ce qui interroge sur la viabilité de cette habitation. Cette histoire mouvementée a donné lieu à un mémoire de master soutenu à l’université de Franche-Comté. |

| Summary, etc. | Having learned of the existence of an inventory of a dwelling called Le Bonnet, located in Saint-Domingue (present-dayHaiti), preserved in the departmental archives of Belfort under the number 1J1127, we wanted to understand the link between Belfort and colonial slavery.In this quest, it appeared that the house had, over a short period of time (1754-1772), no less than 8 successive owners, which raises questions about the viability of this house. This eventful history gave rise to a master’s thesis defended at the University of Franche-Comté. |
