| Summary, etc. | A partir de una investigación etnográfica realizada a mediados del 2000 en los servicios técnicos de hospitales parisinos actualmente cerrados, el artículo presenta las experiencias obreras en los sótanos, conocidos también como “galerías”, destinados a unir los diferentes pabellones y a albergar canalizaciones y talleres. El mundo del subsuelo, el de las ratas, sombrío y sucio, es su mundo, por oposición al de arriba, asociado a las “batas blancas”, a la higiene y la atención sanitaria. Esta situación genera una relegación espacial y social de ese personal, que aspira a liberarse de ella. |
