| Summary, etc. | ¿Cuáles son los retos de la hipótesis de Patrick Tort de que el capitalismo, y la civilización de la que surge, son por naturaleza hipertélicos? El término hipertelia en la ciencia se refiere al desarrollo excesivo de una estructura anatómica que puede provocar molestias. El análisis de Tort ofrece una nueva comprensión de dicho término a través del doble mecanismo de debilitamiento y sobrecompensación. Desde un punto de vista naturalista, este doble mecanismo se encuentra en el proceso de civilización, que corresponde a la transformación racional por parte de la especie humana de su entorno natural como «ayuda a la supervivencia». Las facultades racionales de la especie humana, sobrecompensando una debilidad orgánica innata, pueden llamarse entonces hipertélicas. ¿Qué podemos aprender de la evolución de este doble mecanismo dentro de la civilización si lo estudiamos mediante el análisis de la dinámica de los sistemas económicos a nivel mundial? ¿Cuál es el vínculo entre la racionalidad y la economía capitalista? |
