| Summary, etc. | Desde el decenio de 2000, el sector agrícola ha vuelto a ser un tema central en los debates sobre el desarrollo. Según el pensamiento dominante, liberal y «modernizador», el sector agrícola está condenado a desaparecer. Sin embargo, desde la década de los noventa, cada vez son más los agricultores familiares que afirman ser agentes de vías alternativas de desarrollo agrícola y rural, en colaboración con otros agentes ciudadanos, incluidos investigadores comprometidos. Estos movimientos aún no han dado lugar a un proyecto político ampliamente unificador. Uno de los retos consistirá en articular las iniciativas impulsadas por las comunidades locales y las nuevas políticas públicas destinadas al desarrollo agrícola sostenible. |
