520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Attachment behaviours and the bonding process form a frame of reference to understand the dynamics in early childhood that have an impact in the medium and long term, thereby helping to understand the mental processes and psychotherapeutic intervention. This concept emerges from clinical observation, but underlying neurophysiological grounds have also been found with methodological sufficiency to endorse the conclusions of attachment theory and support a «new paradigm» for understanding mother-baby interaction. The important role of oxytocin in establishing human attachment is also highlighted, with the activity of other substances such as pheromones and corticosteroids also appearing. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
