| Summary, etc. | Los safe-spaces [espacios seguros] son lugares inclusivos donde los estudiantes estadounidenses experimentan un colectivo seguro donde pueden vivir su diferencia, donde la agresión verbal estaría prohibida. Acusados de infantilizar las mentes y debilitar la libertad de expresión, están en el corazón de las guerras culturales. Estas demandas de protección, sin embargo, muestran la opresión a la que todavía están sometidas las minorías. En estos espacios de transición, las identidades individuales y de grupo se afirman y hacen visibles sus luchas. ¿De qué historias de activistas vienen y a qué tipo de ansiedades responden? Como formas de (re)tomar el poder frente a la hostilidad, estos espacios son fuentes de apaciguamiento y transformación. En algunas psicoterapias, uno también se refugia del mundo y sus proyecciones para encontrar su palabra y su lugar. |
