| Summary, etc. | L’auteur étudie les circonstances et les évolutions de quatre médiations d’urgence en situation de conflit qu’il a exercées personnellement : la guerre entre l’Iran et l’Irak, la Géorgie, le Kirghizistan et l’Ukraine. Il en déduit une typologie originale à partir de la combinaison de différentes variables : autorité, pression du temps, degré de violence, autnomie du médiateur, contexte conflictuel, effet de seuil. Il souligne le caractère paradoxal de la médiation internationale en urgence : faire renoncer à la violence sans pouvoir faire renoncer les parties à leur perception de la justice et de la vérité qui les y a conduit. |
