| Summary, etc. | Aunque el tabaquismo es la primera causa de morbilidad y mortalidad evitables en Francia y matará prematuramente a uno de cada dos fumadores habituales, es posible cuestionarse la validez de respetar la libertad de fumar, sobre todo en un lugar asistencial como un hospital, que es el primer lugar donde se encuentran los daños para la salud y las complicaciones del tabaquismo. Tras el desarrollo del proyecto «hospital libre de tabaco», y luego del proyecto «centro de salud libre de tabaco», después de haber facilitado la sustitución nicotínica con el objetivo de reducir o abandonar el consumo, la persistencia o la oposición de algunos fumadores hospitalizados o que trabajan en el hospital plantea el interrogante de lo que subyace a estas prácticas y posturas más allá de la conducta adictiva. |
