| Summary, etc. | La « transition numérique » des organisations est une tendance lourde depuis plusieurs années qui ne se confond pas avec le long procès d’informatisation. Nous considérons que les sciences de l’information et de la communication sont idéalement placées pour rendre compte des bouleversements qu’elle introduit. En effet, la généralisation du numérique rend totalement inséparables les enjeux qui étaient traditionnellement ceux de l’information, de la mise en forme du savoir, de son classement, de la découverte de nouveaux domaines et ceux de la communication, de l’engagement des interlocuteurs, de la compréhension réciproque, de la diffusion à large échelle de systèmes de représentation au service de messages politiques, citoyens, commerciaux. L’époque actuelle offre l’opportunité de nouvelles articulations conceptuelles entre ces deux courants qui permettent d’offrir un éclairage original sur les phénomènes étudiés. |

| Summary, etc. | The “digital transition” of organizations has been a major trend for several years which cannot be confused with the long process of computerization. We consider that the information and communication sciences are ideally placed to account for the upheavals it introduces. Indeed, the generalization of digital technology makes completely inseparable the issues which were traditionally those of information, the shaping of knowledge, its classification, the discovery of new fields and those of communication, the engagement of interlocutors, of reciprocal understanding, of the large-scale dissemination of systems of representation in the service of political, citizen and commercial messages. The current era offers the opportunity for new conceptual articulations between these two currents which provide an original perspective on the phenomena studied. |
