Summary, etc. | L’objet de l’article vise à présenter un retour réflexif sur les acquisitions des étudiants, en matière d’esprit critique, lors d’expérimentations pédagogiques autour d’enseignements sur l’analyse des controverses. Nous abordons les apports des SIC à ce champ de recherches, notamment sur la considération du rôle des médias et des publics dans l’étude des controverses et la diversification des objectifs des enseignements de controverses. Nous décrivons notre cadre théorique d’appréhension de l’objet « controverse » et notre approche originale d’analyse des controverses (MASCO). Un focus est ensuite proposé sur les liens entre cartographie et modélisation dans l’optique de préciser un autre apport des SIC aux études de controverses. Par la suite, nous présentons l’analyse de résultats partiels de l’évaluation de l’enseignement expérimental que nous dispensons. Nous terminons en discutant les méthodologies d’évaluation de ces enseignements de l’esprit critique par les controverses. |

Summary, etc. | This article aims to present a reflective feedback on the acquisitions of students, in terms of critical thinking, during educational experiments focused on controversies’ analysis. We address the contributions of CIS to this field of research, especially on the role of the media and of the public in controversies’ studies, and the opening of the objectives of this kind of course. We describe our theoretical framework for understanding the “controversy” object and our original approach to analyze controversies (MASCO). Then we focus on the relation between cartography and modeling in the perspective of an additional contribution of CIS to controversy studies. Thereafter, we present the analysis of partial results of the evaluation of the experimental teaching that we dispense. Finally, we discuss the methodologies for evaluating critical thinking courses based on controversies’ analysis. |
