| Summary, etc. | La première session de l’Assemblée générale des Nations Unies pour l’environnement (l’ANUE) s’est tenue au mois de juin dernier sous l’égide du Programme des Nations Unies pour l’Environnement (PNUE), devenant ainsi le premier forum politique universel en matière d’environnement. Très attendue, l’Assemblée a dû se pencher sur la question des objectifs de développement durable [ODD] et l’agenda de développement post-2015, y compris la consommation et la production durable, afin de mieux intégrer la question environnementale dans les ODD. Malgré les attentes suscitées, cette première session n’a, ne semble-t-il, pas réussi à relever les nombreux défis qui lui étaient soumis, notamment par un manque d’audace se caractérisant par un classicisme dans les résolutions adoptées. |

| Summary, etc. | The United Nations Environment Assembly, an unconverted try for UNEPThe first session of United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) was held in the last month of June, under the auspices of the United Nations Environment programme (UNEP) becoming the first universal political forum on the environment. Highly anticipated, the Assembly has had to address the issue of sustainable development goals (SDG) and the post-2015 Development Agenda, including sustainable consumption and production, to integrate the environment into SDGs. Despite the expectations raised, the first session seemed unable to address the many challenges that were submitted, including a lack of boldness characterized by classicism in the resolutions adopted. |
