| Summary, etc. | Le 4 novembre 2020, la Convention européenne des droits de l’Homme a fêté son 70ème anniversaire. Au cours des années 2019 et 2020, la Cour de Strasbourg a traité un nombre significatif de requêtes environnementales, dont les plus importantes sont ici repérées et commentées. Ces affaires témoignent de l’inventivité, parfois des parties aux litiges mais le plus souvent de la Cour, à dépasser le cadre conventionnel et à le faire évoluer à petits ou à grands pas pour répondre aux problèmes environnementaux soulevés aujourd’hui mais aussi à ceux qui le seront inévitablement demain. |

| Summary, etc. | The European Convention on Human Rights celebrated its 70th anniversary on 4th November 2020. In 2019-2020, the Strasbourg Court dealt with a significant number of environmental claims. The most relevant cases are listed and commented in this contribution. All these demonstrate the inventiveness of both of the parties to the disputes in some instances, but more often of the European Court, which goes beyond the conventional framework and advance it in small or large steps to respond to environmental issues arising today and to those that will inevitably emerge tomorrow. |
