| Summary, etc. | Dans les périphéries en transformation rapide de la métropole de Lima, au Pérou, nous analysons les mécanismes d’inclusion, de différenciation et d’exclusion en relation avec les modes d’accès à l’eau et à l’évacuation des eaux usées. À partir d’un corpus diversifié de données issues des statistiques et d’entretiens de terrain, notre démarche consiste à explorer les hypothèses suivantes : les inégalités d’accès à ces services proviennent du retard des réseaux par rapport à l’expansion urbaine ; elles sont liées aux moyens d’action différenciés des résidents selon leur condition socio-économique ; elles sont dues aux spécificités de l’intervention publique et privée dans des espaces périphériques encore ruraux. Ces derniers processus impliquent des dynamiques de création et de modification des territoires. |

| Summary, etc. | In the rapidly changing peripheries of the Lima metropolitan area, in Peru, we analyzed the mechanisms of inclusion, differentiation and exclusion in terms of access to water supply and sewage disposal. Our approach is based on a diversified corpus of data from statistics and fieldwork and explores the following hypotheses. Inequality in terms of access is linked to the lapse of time between urban expansion and the installation of services. They are tied to the differentiated possibilities available to residents to obtain these services, according to their socio-economic condition. They are due to the fact that the State and the private actors intervene in these still rural spaces differently than in urban areas. These last processes imply the creation and the reshaping of territories. |
