Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. | In vino veritas, the sublime speech of Victor Eremita, a guest at the Kierkegaardian banquet. A theory is proposed whereby it is through ‘negative relations that women make men productive in ideality’. Here, we attempt to unpick the reasons behind this statement, showing how ‘the most penetrating investigator of the soul before Freud’ (Jacques Lacan) ties together three terms: a woman, writing, existence. What is the logic behind these ties? How is one to exist? Why write? Kierkegaard’s responses to these questions, in action as well as in thought, are all inescapable truths for the psychoanalyst. |
