| Summary, etc. | La contribution des sentiments au jugement moral confirme son historicité (J. Maritain) et les bienfaits de l’interdépendance (C. Gilligan). Avec J. Butler, la formulation d’une norme doit prendre en compte son impact sur la reconnaissance d’autrui. La « normativité », ou capacité des sujets à assumer une mobilité interne aux normes pour préserver la vie, requiert une « clinique sociale » pour restaurer le vivre ensemble (G. Le Blanc). Mais les critères du discernement demeurent relativement stables. Alors que la conception nietzschéenne de la vie comme puissance de créativité en interaction avec son milieu s’oppose à la conception thomiste de la vie comme puissance d’organisation qui finalise le vivant, les philosophies qui dénient tout fondement métaphysique laissent demeurer une manière inductive de s’approprier les principes premiers que Thomas d’Aquin posait au sommet d’une éthique déductive. Les pratiques sociales sont alors l’espace partagé qui permet de poser le jugement moral. |

Butler, the formulation of a standard must take into account its impact on the recognition of others. The “normativity” or subjects’ability to assume standard’s internal mobility to preserve life, requires a « social clinic » to restore living together (G. Le Blanc). But the discernment criteria remain relatively stable. While the Nietzschean conception of life as the power of creativity in interaction with its environment is opposed to the Thomistic conception of life as an organizing power that finalizes the living, philosophers who deny metaphysical foundation let remain an inductive way of appropriating first principles that Thomas Aquinas puts as the top of a deductive ethics. This indicates social practices as the shared space that allows to pose moral judgment. |
