Pour répondre à cette question, il est nécessaire de prendre en compte la pluralité du texte biblique et de questionner le présupposé de sa perspective anthropocentrique. Pour le dire autrement, il importe de vérifier si la littérature biblique de sagesse permet de dépasser l’opposition entre anthropocentrisme et cosmocentrisme. Mais le texte biblique n’étant pas naïf et ne masquant rien des errements de l’humanité, il conviendra tout autant de cerner de quelle manière il avertit des conséquences que peut engendrer l’activité humaine quand elle exploite la création à son profit. En définitive, il s’agit de regarder en quoi la Bible peut aider à penser comment habiter le présent sans se divertir des enjeux écologiques. |
