| Summary, etc. | Le Concile Vatican II s’est affirmé comme un projet « pastoral », c’est-à-dire destiné à la pratique concrète de l’Église. Il a donc dû tenir compte des contraintes du réel des langues pour traduire en termes d’action la tradition dogmatique. Aussi la question du langage en vue de la communication dans la société et l’histoire « moderne » est devenue la clef de l’interprétation du patrimoine doctrinal des chrétiens. La relation entre le langage de la foi et l’expérience historique des terroirs sociaux constitue désormais la tâche première de la pastorale. L’expression croyante née d’un rapport fragile entre le dire, le penser et le croire ne peut être close sur elle-même. La pastorale devient alors un chantier où le langage naît de l’interprétation permanente de l’altérité du message chrétien pour reconnaître de façon créative sa performance évolutive et son incarnation instituée dans l’aujourd’hui de nos cultures. |

| Summary, etc. | The Second Vatican Council has been asserted as a pastoral project aimed at concrete practice in the Church. Hence, language reality constraints had to be taken into account in order to translate the dogmatic tradition into action terms. So the issue of language has become the key to interpret Christian doctrinal heritage for the purpose of communication in “modern” society and history. The relationship between the language of faith and the historical experience of social soils has now become the priority of pastoral care. The expression of faith which comes from a frail link between telling ; thinking, and believing cannot be inward-looking. Pastoral care hence becomes a project in which language arises from a permanent interpretation of the alterity of the Christian message so as to creatively recognize its performative evolution and its incarnation set up in contemporary cultures. |
