Summary, etc. | Nietzsche nous a rappelé que la vie est située par-delà le bien et le mal. Dans le contexte de la « mort de Dieu », ces deux notions n’apparaissent plus comme des vérités, mais comme des valeurs. Cela n’empêche pas Nietzsche de penser le mal. Il apparaît, d’abord, comme souffrance. Cependant, cette souffrance, en un sens, n’est pas réelle, car elle est l’occasion pour le soi, identifié au corps, d’un dépassement, in fine, par la joie. Loin d’être semblable à la vengeance, qui réagit, en commettant, en rendant le mal, sans commencer par agir, la joie apparaît comme la solution qui délivre, au sens fort, de l’enfermement dans le mal que je subis. Et, surtout, la joie me permet d’accéder à une véritable compassion – si on entend la joie en tant que Tiers. Elle réunit les sujets souffrants et, par là, les sauve du mal. Même si Nietzsche critique la religion chrétienne, ne procède-t-il pas là à une œuvre salutaire – d’amour ? |

Summary, etc. | Nietzsche reminded us that life lies Beyond Good and Evil. In the context of “God is Dead”, these two principles do not appear as truths, but as values. This does not prevent Nietzsche from conceiving evil. It first appears as suffering. But this suffering is, in a certain sense, not real because it is an opportunity for the Self, identified with the body, to transcend itself and finally become joy. Unlike vengeance, which merely reacts, reciprocating evil without initiat-ing it, joy appears as the solution, which releases, in the strong sense, from the bonds of evil. Foremost, joy allows access to true compassion – that of the Onlooker. It unites those who suffer and thereby delivers them from evil. Even as Nietzsche criticises the Christian religion, isn’t his approach a salubrious labour... of love ? |
