| Summary, etc. | Le corps est ce par quoi la personne peut advenir, et participant ainsi à l’élaboration de la vie personnelle, il devient ainsi en quelque sorte lui-même personnel. Reflet et porte d’entrée de la personne, il est ce qui permet à la personne également de se donner à connaître, comme de se donner dans la relation sexuelle. Le développement de l’être personnel remet ainsi en cause la vision dualiste du l’homme. Il n’est pas un corps abritant un esprit : il est corps permettant la vie de l’esprit, et esprit irrigant sans cesse le corps. |

Our body is the gateway that reflects the person we are. Therefore, it also enables us as persons to reveal ourselves to others and to give ourselves in sexuality. The development of personal being thus contradicts the dualistic vision of man, for a human being is not a spirit within a body, but a body that makes the life of the spirit possible, and a spirit ceaselessly flowing through the body. |
