Dans Expérience et Absolu, Jean-Yves Lacoste arrive à une conclusion bien plus radicale, à savoir que l’éthique est une forme de liturgie. Pour comprendre cette affirmation, l’article se penche sur les termes « liturgie » et « éthique » chez Lacoste. Si sa façon de comprendre l’éthique est plus ou moins conventionnelle, sa conception de la liturgie est hautement originale. La thèse principale de Expérience et Absolu concerne le lien entre la facticité (propre à Heidegger) et la transcendance. Tout en exposant cette thèse, l’auteur propose une thèse supplémentaire concernant le rapport intime entre liturgie et éthique. |

| Summary, etc. | That liturgy has, or should have, something to do with ethics is, hopefully, beyond all doubt. In Expérience et Absolu, Jean-Yves Lacoste arrives at a far more radical conclusion, namely that ethics is a form of liturgy. In order to understand this claim, the article first carefully examines how Lacoste understands the terms “liturgy” and “ethics”. If his understanding of ethics is more or less conventional, his understanding of liturgy proves to be highly original. The main thesis of Expérience et Absolu concerns the link between facticity ( à la Heidegger) and transcendence. It is in the course of expounding this thesis that the author proposes a supplementary thesis on the intimate relationship between liturgy and ethics. |
