| Summary, etc. | Lorsque Ricœur pense l’histoire, il fait de l’écriture (ou du témoignage) cette nécessaire ressaisie de l’événement qui fait accéder le passé au rang de sûr objet. Lorsque Péguy médite l’histoire, il fait du saisissement (ou de l’apparition) ce nécessaire climat de la mémoire qui laisse exister l’avènement comme singularité même du réel. On propose ici un retour à la phénoménologie de Péguy, par-delà l’herméneutique de Ricœur, afin que l’histoire de l’art ne risque plus de se substituer à la rencontre de l’art en nos esprits modernes, tant il semble vrai qu’expliquer toute singularité artistique par la généalogie de faits, de documents et d’influences nous repousserait sans doute dangereusement en plein positivisme. |

When Péguy meditates on history, he makes amazement (or emergence) this necessary climate of the memory who lets the advent exist as a singularity of reality. We propose here a return to Péguy’s phenomenology, beyond Ricœur’s hermeneutics, so that the history of art can no longer interfere with the encounter with art for our modern minds, because the explanation of artistic singularity through the genealogy of facts, documents or influences would make us become scientists. |
