Summary, etc. | La mobilité interne est un outil de GRH traditionnellement utilisé dans la gestion de carrière des salariés des grandes entreprises françaises. Cet article expose le cheminement d’une recherche doctorale questionnant la capacité de la mobilité interne à développer le talent de tous les collaborateurs. A partir d’une recherche qualitative menée auprès de 37 cadres travaillant dans 5 grandes entreprises françaises, la recherche fait émerger quatre significations de la mobilité chez les cadres. Elle met également en avant le potentiel de la mobilité interne à développer l’apprentissage et la motivation des salariés, en fonction de ces différentes significations. La recherche conclut sur l’hypothèse selon laquelle la mobilité interne reflèterait in fine la teneur du lien entre le salarié et l’organisation. |

Summary, etc. | Internal mobility is a tool traditionally used in HRM career management employees of large French companies. This article outlines the progress of a doctoral research questioning the ability of intra organizational mobility to develop employees’ talents. From a qualitative research conducted among 37 executives working in 5 large French companies, the research shows the existence of four meanings for mobility among executives. It also highlights the potential of internal mobility, despite many obstacles, to enhance employees’ motivations and support learning practices according to these different meanings. This research concludes on the assumption that internal mobility ultimately reflects the employment relationship. |
