En prenant appui sur l’analyse des types d’intégration mis en œuvre par 25 Multinationales de Pays Emergents (EMNE), pour donner suite à des acquisitions d’entreprises françaises, ce travail cherche à questionner l’effet du pays d’origine sur ces choix stratégiques. Il en explore les effets sous l’angle de l’influence des héritages administratifs des EMNE, et plus précisément des imaginaires stratégiques et politiques de leurs dirigeants. Ce faisant, il corrobore la vision de la stratégie comme un concept « profondément culturel ». |

Summary, etc. | This article deals with the influence of strategic imaginaries on organizational decisions. Analyzing post-acquisition integration approaches of 25 emerging multinationals (EMNEs) in France, it examines the country-of-origin effect on these strategic choices. It explores its dynamics through the impact of EMNEs’ administrative heritages, specifically focusing on their managers’ strategic imaginaries. Thus, it corroborates a vision of strategy as a “deeply cultural concept” (Shrivastava et Persson, 2014). |
