| Summary, etc. | Après avoir retracé l’histoire de « l’organisation communautaire » aux États-Unis depuis le début du XXe siècle, l’auteur met en évidence un certain nombre de continuités à travers une analyse des textes destinés à valoriser et à transmettre cette méthodologie. L’organisateur attache une haute valeur à la démocratie, tant comme horizon de son action que comme source de ses expertises. Les différents courants, allant du plus « radical » au plus « consensuel » puisent dans des sources intellectuelles riches et nombreuses. Pour autant, une certaine communauté de vue est décelable, même aujourd’hui, autour des notions de progrès et d’engagement non partisan. |
