| Summary, etc. | Mise en œuvre dès 1945, la Sécurité sociale française a instauré un système d’assurances sociales obligatoires contre les risques sociaux. Toutefois, les différents risques de protection sociale sont montés en charge progressivement et selon leur calendrier propre, en réponse aux différents besoins sociaux dont l’importance s’est révélée au fil des années. Très rapidement, les risques famille et accidents du travail-maladies professionnelles ont fait l’objet d’une attention particulière. Les principaux piliers du système, en termes de montants de dépenses, se sont constitués pendant les Trente Glorieuses autour des branches maladie et vieillesse, cette dernière demeurant encore à ce jour assez émiettée. Plus récemment, dans un contexte financier plus difficile, ont émergé des problématiques nouvelles, qui n’ont pas nécessairement été intégrées à la Sécurité sociale stricto sensu : il s’agit en particulier de l’assurance chômage, des dispositifs mis en œuvre pour lutter contre la pauvreté et aider les plus modestes à se loger ou encore de la prise en charge de la dépendance. |

| Summary, etc. | A rising of insurance risks since 1945French social security created a system of obligatory social insurance in 1945. However, various risks increased progressively each following a specific timescale, in response to needs whose importance became evident in the course of time. Soon after 1945, the family risk and that of work injuries and illness became the object of special attention. The main pillars of the system, measured in terms of expenditure were constituted in the period the thirty glorious years around the branches of health and retirement pensions, this last remaining dispersed. More recently in the context of financial difficulties, new problems have arisen that were not necessarily integrated into social security as such. These are income support for the unemployed, procedures for the fight against poverty and helping those inpoverty with housing, and dependency of elderly people. |
