| Summary, etc. | Les condamnations à mort de femmes ayant contrevenu à l’ordre allemand en France occupée représentent un phénomène genré minoritaire mais un fait social et politique majeur. Les différences sexuées qui le caractérisent s’expliquent par les spécificités de l’engagement féminin contre l’occupant, la stratégie allemande de préservation des relations avec les populations occupées et la permanence des normes de genre. Avérée, l’indulgence relative à l’égard des femmes est cependant sélective. Lorsque celles-ci transgressent radicalement leurs assignations traditionnelles ou que pèse sur elles le spectre de l’ennemi judéo-bolchevique, les juges militaires allemands ne les épargnent pas. |

| Summary, etc. | The death sentences handed down for women who contravened the German order in Occupied France represent a minority gendered phenomenon, but nonetheless reflect an important social and political reality. The gendered differences that characterize this situation can be explained by the specificities of women’s engagement against the occupying power, the German strategy of preserving relations with the occupied populations, and the persistence of gender norms. The relative clemency shown to women was, however, selective. When they radically transgressed their traditional assignments or when the specter of the Judeo-Bolshevik enemy loomed too near, they were not spared by German military judges. |
