| Summary, etc. | Ce travail a pour objectif d’étudier les mausolées et les inscriptions funéraires dans la Régence de Tripoli d’Occident (la Libye actuelle) pendant toute la période ottomane (1551-1911). Nous avons inventorié douze mausolées et trois cimetières, de trois villes libyennes : Tripoli, Benghazi et Mourzouk. Au sujet des documents épigraphiques, nous avons regroupé 136 inscriptions funéraires, dont la majorité est in situ. La quasi-totalité des stèles provient de la capitale libyenne Tripoli (132 textes, soit 98 %). Les stèles funéraires sont caractérisées par leur richesse et leur diversité. Leurs textes sont exécutés en langue arabe et ottomane. En dépit de l’importance de ces sources, les études s’intéressant à la documentation épigraphique libyenne sont encore lacunaires. Nous essayons, à travers de cette étude, de présenter les monuments funéraires et leurs emplacements dans les villes étudiées. Nous tentons également d’étudier l’évolution de la forme et du contenu des stèles à travers toute la période ottomane. |

| Summary, etc. | This work aims to shed lights on the mausoleums and funerary inscriptions during the Regency of Tripoli of the West (Libya) within the Ottoman period (1551-1911). We have focused on several mausoleums and cemeteries of three Libyan cities: Tripoli, Benghazi and Mourzouk. Based on epigraphic documents, we have grouped them into 136 funerary inscriptions, the majority of which are in situ. The big share of steles comes from the Libyan capital Tripoli (132 texts, 98%). Funerary steles are characterized by richness and diversity. Their texts are executed in Arabic and Ottoman languages. In spite of the importance of these sources, the studies, interested in the Libyan epigraphic documentation, are still incomplete. We try, through this study, to present the funerary monuments and their locations in the studied cities. We also try to study the evolution of the shape and the content of the stele throughout the whole Ottoman period. |
