520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Time Zigzagging and Criss-Crossing. If we compare Freud’s conception of Time with that of Piera Aulagnier, we can see how, for the former, the present is constantly invaded by the past, and, for the latter, the future plays an important part. Piera Aulagnier, with notions of ‘anticipation’and ‘the identificatory project’and Freud with his notions of ‘deferred action’and ‘posthumous primary processes,’open the way up for a specifically psychoanalytical consideration of the philosophical question of Time. This article shows how the encounter of the ‘I’with Time can be associated with the end of primary narcissism, which in turn can be associated with the question of the role of death drives as regards the notion of temporality. The author reminds us that the notion of the atemporality of the unconscious should be limited to that of the ‘processes of the unconscious system’, which in turn leads us to a discussion of this in relation with the thinking of Kant. |
