| Summary, etc. | RésuméUn courant de recherche invite depuis peu à approfondir la connaissance du travail dans les associations. Cet article suit cette invitation en s’intéressant à l’activité de travail des bénévoles du Secours populaire. Les collectifs qu’ils constituent réalisent quotidiennement des tâches qui n’ont, a priori, rien de facile ; elles nécessitent de l’organisation et que les bénévoles et salariés soient préparés pour la tâche. Dans ce cadre, les conditions dans lesquelles les bénévoles ont l’impression d’effectuer les tâches ne disparaissent pas derrière la foi militante. Certains sont tentés par le découragement quand ils éprouvent le sentiment de n’être pas suffisamment aidés par le cadre de travail dans lequel ils doivent exercer. La difficulté est réelle, dans un contexte associatif, pour penser une telle situation dans la mesure où celle-ci passe par la mobilisation de catégories – l’organisation et l’engagement vis-à-vis du travail – dont la légitimité reste très controversée. |

| Summary, etc. | Lately a research trend suggested that we deepen the knowledge of work in associations. This paper follows that suggestion and focuses on the working activity of volunteers from the Secours Populaire. The collective they constitute daily realises tasks which, on the face of it, aren’t easy ; they require organisation and for volunteers and employees to be prepared for the task. In these surroundings, the impression the volunteers get of the conditions in which they perform these tasks does not vanish behind the militant faith. Some are tempted to be discouraged when they feel they are not supported enough in the surroundings in which they have to work. It is really hard, in the associative context, to work out such a situation insofar as it appeals to categories (such as organisation and involvement into work), the legitimacy of which is very much questioned. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenUna corriente de investigación invita, recientemente, a profundizar en el conocimiento del trabajo en las asociaciones. Este artículo sigue esta invitación y se interesa por la actividad del trabajo de los voluntarios del Socorro Popular. Los colectivos constituidos, cotidianamente realizan tareas que no son muy notables; necesitan tan solo que los voluntarios y los asalariados estén preparados para dichas tareas. En este contexto, las condiciones dentro de las cuales los voluntarios tienen la impresión de llevar a cabo sus tareas, no desaparecen detrás de la fe del militante. Algunos son tentados por el desencanto cuando les llega el sentimiento de no ser suficientemente ayudados dentro del marco de trabajo que deben ejercer. La dificultad es real, en un contexto asociativo, y hace pensar en tales situaciones en la medida en que pasan por la movilización de categorías – la organización y el compromiso frente al trabajo- terreno en el cual la legitimidad es muy controvertible. |
