520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Myths, the Oedipus Complex and the Process of Subjectivistaion This article aims at showing that the Oedipal parental atom is formed around the dynamics of the process of subjectivisation. The author bases his ideas on the recent research carried out by B. Juillerat into the Yangis ritual of the Yafars in Papua New Guinea and also on the new light shed on the differences of ideas expressed in 1950 between C. Lévi-Strauss and M. Mauss, the debate between J. Lacan, J. Hippolite and M. Mauss in 1954 and the confrontation of ideas in 1977 between A. Green and C. Lévi-Strauss. The recent evolution of the confrontation between the field of psychoanalysis and that of anthropology is thus made clearer. Reflecting on the future of myths and rituals in our ultra-modern society shows how the differences between the unconscious as defined by Freud and the unconscious as defined by anthropology can be opposed from both the psychoanalytical and anthropological conception of subjectivisation. |
