Summary, etc. Il existe une histoire de la rencontre entre pédopsychiatres et psychanalystes, en France. L’auteur essaye, tout d’abord, d’en retracer les grandes étapes, tout en montrant que le fond du débat renvoie, à l’évidence, à la différence des modèles épistémologiques en jeu, non seulement entre pédopsychiatres et psychanalystes, mais aussi entre ceux-ci et les pédiatres. Il existe une « pénétration agie », selon le concept de R. Roussillon, des divergences entre ces modèles dans la teneur même des débats et des polémiques qui ont (eu) entre ces différentes disciplines. La psychanalyse a certainement eu, dans le passé, une influence plus grande qu’aujourd’hui sur la pédopsychiatrie, mais la cause est loin d’être perdue.

The ‘Active Penetration’of the Difference between Models in the History of their Relationship There is a history to be told of the encounter between Child Psychiatrists and Psychoanalysis in France that this article examines. First, the author retraces the major stages of this encounter and shows how the subjects of dissension between the two spheres is apparently linked to the epistemological models at play, not only between child psychiatrists and psychoanalysts, but also between them and paediatricians. There is an ‘active penetration’, to use the concept of R. Roussillon, divergences between these models in the ideas even at the basis of the debates and arguments that have existed between these different disciplines. Psychoanalysis has certainly known better days as far as its influence over child psychiatry is concerned, but we are not giving up on the cause yet.
