| Summary, etc. | Cet article constitue un résumé à la fois dense et clair de la pensée de Piera Aulagnier confrontée aux paradigmes de l’autisme et des psychoses précoces. Elle cherche à comprendre et à figurer le début de la vie psychique dans le jeu complexe qui s’institue entre la mère et l’Infans. Du côté de la psyché de la mère, le Je de son enfant est préidentifié et pré-investi, avant même qu’il n’arrive au monde. Du côté de l’enfant, il y a une nécessité vitale à trouver un compromis identificatoire entre cet identifié parental et sa propre auto-construction. C’est la possibilité qu’il aura d’introduire, ou non, un écart entre cette anticipation et sa propre trajectoire identificatoire, qui va décider de sa réponse à ce que Piera Aulagnier caractérise comme violence fondamentale. Si aucun écart, aucun changement n’est possible dans la construction qui lui est imposée, une potentialité psycho-tique ou une psychose infantile peuvent s’organiser. C’est aussi dans l’impossibilité d’un jeu suffisamment mobile de cet édifice identificatoire que tout mouvement, même minime mais imprévu de l’entourage, peut provoquer un effondrement. |

| Summary, etc. | The Concept of Psychotic Potentiality This article is in fact a detailed but clear summarised version of Piera Aulagnier’s thinking on the paradigms of autism and precocious psychoses. The way psychic life is determined by the complex play between mother and child is at the heart of her study. As far as the mother’s psyche is concerned, the child’s ‘I’is pre-identified and pre-invested before even being born. As for the child, it is essential that the child be able to find a compromise between this parental identity and his/her own self-construction. Whether it is possible for the child to constitute, or not, a gap between this anticipation and his/her own identification development determines the child’s reaction to what Piera Aulagnier calls fundamental violence. If no gap can be constituted, no change is possible in the construction that is imposed on the child, and a child psychosis may appear. If there is no place for flexibility in the construction of identity, however slight this may be, but necessarily unforeseen by the immediate family, total collapse may follow. |
