| Summary, etc. | Vu l’absence d’une véritable discussion sur Souffrance en France dans la communauté scientifique et dans l’opinion publique italienne, la forme de cet article ne pourra pas être celle de l’étude académique qui reconstruit minutieusement la constellation de positions qui a pris forme dans un large débat. Il s’agira plutôt de reconstruire le destin italien de ce texte à partir d’une base insuffisante d’indices (première partie) ; et – faute de mieux – de restituer l’appropriation personnelle de Souffrance en France de la part d’un Italien : un philosophe social et de l’histoire qui, à un certain moment de son parcours théorique, a eu la chance de rencontrer ce livre, de le discuter avec ses collègues français, de le présenter à ses étudiants italiens et, dulcis in fundo, de faire la connaissance de son auteur (deuxième partie). |

| Summary, etc. | Given the absence of actual discussion about Souffrance en France both among the scientific community and within the larger Italian public, the shape of this article could not be that of an academic study that conscientiously reconstructs the constellation of positions that took place in the context of a broader debate. It will be rather one to reconstruct the course ofthis text in Italy from a poor pool of evidence (first part); and – for want of something better – to restore the personal appropriation of Souffrance en France by an Italian: a social philosopher and philosopher of history who, at a certain point in his theoretical path, was fortunate to came across this book, to discuss it with his French colleagues, to show it to his Italian students and, dulcis in fundo, to meet his author (second part). |

| Summary, etc. | Visto y considerando la ausencia de una verdadera discusión sobre La banalización de la injusticia social en la comunidad científica y la opinión pública italiana, la forma de este artículo no podrá ser la de un estudio académico que reconstruye minuciosamente la constelación de posiciones que ha tomado forma un debate más amplio. Se tratará entonces de reconstruir el destino italiano de este texto a partir de una base insuficiente de pistas (primera parte); y – ante la ausencia de algo mejor – restituir la apropiación personal de La banalización de la injusticia social de un italiano: un filósofo social y de la historia que, en cierto momento de su recorrido teórico, tuvo la suerte de encontrarse con este libro, discutirlo con sus colegas franceses, presentarlo a sus estudiantes italianos y, dulcis in fundo, conocer a su autor (segunda parte). |
