| Summary, etc. | A partir de l’analyse métapsychologique du récit écrit d’un déporté du génocide arménien de 1915, l’auteur met en travail les rapports de la pensée et de l’action dans l’élaboration d’une capacité à ruser par le bais de laquelle peut se reconstituer, dans des situations extrêmes de persécution, un pare-excitation au sens où l’entend Freud en 1919. Elle propose l’idée que la ruse permet une réorganisation de soi face au mal qui pousserait au contraire à la désorganisation, en ouvrant des chemins à la circulation du flux pulsionnel pour l’activité représentative tant en relation avec les indices de la réalité extérieure qu’avec les traces mnésiques culturelles. |

| Summary, etc. | Cunning as a Strategy for Survival. Reflections on the Narrative of a Deportee The author of this article takes as her starting point a meta-psychological analysis of the narrative of a deportee in the Armenian genocide of 1915, to show how the links between thought and action function in the elaboration of an ability to be cunning in situations of extreme persecution, like a shield to protect from excitation in the sense that Freud uses this term in 1919. She examines the idea that cunning allows the Self to be reorganised in the face of an evil that would normally push it towards disorganisation, by opening up channels for the circulation of drives in representational functions both in relation to exterior reality and traces of cultural memory. |
