| Summary, etc. | Les auteurs exposent une étude concernant l’histoire de la psychanalyse au Chili, avant son institutionnalisation. Ils reprennent des références relatives à ce qui fut l’application du traitement moral au Chili au milieu du xixe siècle, ainsi que d’autres conceptualisations inédites issues de la clinique chilienne de cette époque. Par ailleurs, ils présentent l’expérience de Fernando Allende-Navarro, premier psychanalyste chilien, et du premier travail psychanalytique exposé en Amérique latine par Germán Greve, en 1910. A travers cet article, ils commencent par situer de façon chronologique des approches qui n’ont pas toujours été considérées par l’histoire de la Psychanalyse, mais qui trouvent ici une juste place, dans une référence à une préhistoire de la discipline. |

| Summary, etc. | The First Steps of Chilean Psychoanalysis and Prehistory The authors propose to study the history of psychoanalysis in Chile before it was institutionalised. They refer to the application of moral treatment in Chile in the middle of XIXth century, along with other hitherto unexamined conceptualisations of this period. They present Fernando Allende-Navarro’s experience as the first Chilean psychoanalyst and the first Latin-American paper in psychoanalysis, Germán Greve’s 1910 congress presentation. The authors show how some approaches not normally considered as part of the history of psychoanalysis find their rightful place here, with reference to the prehistory of our field. |
