Il suit les traces d’une relation qui débute avec la politique sanitaire des États en guerre et qui conduit aux politiques de santé mentale nécessaires dans les planifications des sociétés modernes. La psychanalyse depuis la période de l’entre-deux-guerres s’est organisée pour proposer une formation spécifique aux futurs professionnels et des centres thérapeutiques destinés au public. Il devient évident que la rencontre entre une politique sanitaire d’État et un développement scientifique et institutionnel de la psychanalyse doit se faire aussi sur le terrain du législatif. Les conditions de cette rencontre peuvent varier en fonction du rapport de forces entre les interlocuteurs. |

| Summary, etc. | Psychoanalysis and the State – a Historical Perspective. The author of this article presents a historical perspective on the relationship between psychoanalysis and the State since the time when analysis became a distinct practice to medicine. He traces the development of this relationship which begins with the health policies of States at war and which leads to the laying down of mental health policies necessary to the organisation of modern societies. From the inter-war period onwards, psychoanalysis has provided specific training courses for future professionals and welfare centres for the general public. It quickly became clear that the junction between State health policies and the scientific and institutional development of psychoanalysis would require a legal framework. The conditions prevailing over this junction vary depending on the balance of power between the parties involved. |
