Prendre place dans son compartiment, près de la fenêtre, pour regarder défiler les formations de l’inconscient comme un paysage est, pour Freud, une véritable conquête qui doit être recommencée à chaque voyage. Travelling through life on that particular train, sitting at the window watching the formations of the unconscious rush by like the changing features of the landscape, is for Freud a trophy that must be conquered with each new voyage. This is why I shall use the Jewish story often referred to by Freud of the Karlsbad Express as my starting point in addressing the issues raised by the practice of Fourth Analysis. |
