| Summary, etc. | Cet article en linguistique de corpus propose une étude de la complexité sémantique de quatre lexies d’affect ( repentir, repentance, se repentir, repenti) dans un corpus journalistique. L’objectif de notre étude est double : d’une part, analyser la complexité sémantique des lexies du champ du repentir et étudier l’impact discursif de cette complexité sur leur environnement textuel et, d’autre part, distinguer en discours les substantifs repentir et repentance, que les outils lexicographiques présentent comme synonymes. Pour ce faire, nous adoptons une approche corpus-based qui nous permet d’élaborer, pour chaque lexie, son profil discursif à partir de nos observations et d’aborder le sens dans une dynamique discursive allant du syntagme à la phrase, de la phrase au paragraphe puis au texte. |

| Summary, etc. | Our article in corpus linguistics proposes a study of the semantic complexity of four French words expressing affects ( repentir, repentance, se repentir, repenti) in a journalistic corpus. The aim of our study is twofold: first, analyze the semantic complexity of these lexemes and study the discursive impact of this complexity on their textual environment, and, secondly, distinguish in discourse the French nouns repentir and repentance, which are presented as synonyms in dictionaries. To do so, we adopt a corpus-based approach that allows us to elaborate a discursive profile for each of these four words, based on our observations. Thus, we approach the meaning in a discourse dynamic going from the phrase to the sentence, from the sentence to the paragraph and then to the text. |
