| Summary, etc. | This contribution aims to analyze a complex discourse marker made up of two spatio-temporal deictic adverbs: or and ça. These adverbs have also developed separately enunciative values through pragmaticalization: or indicates an enunciative break, while ça takes on an incitative value. Our investigation was carried out on a textual corpus made up of plays and dialogues from novels or short stories, over a chronological span ranging from the 12th to the 16th century. After an overview of the different uses of or and ça, we sought to demonstrate that the complex marker combines the discursive properties of or and ça and reinforces the illocutionary value of the statement it introduces. By comparing the two textual genres, we were able to highlight the similarities, as well as the particularities, that this marker develops in theater, in relation to performance. |

| Summary, etc. | Cette contribution a pour objectif d’analyser le mécanisme de formation d’un marqueur discursif complexe constitué de deux adverbes déictiques spatio-temporels : or et ça. Ces adverbes ont également développé séparément, par des procédés de pragmaticalisation, des valeurs énonciatives : or indique une rupture énonciative, alors que ça prend une valeur incitative. Notre enquête a été menée sur un corpus textuel constitué de textes de théâtre et de dialogues extraits de romans ou nouvelles, sur un empan chronologique qui va du XIIe au XVIe siècle. Après un rappel des différents emplois de or et de ça, nous avons cherché à mettre en évidence que le marqueur complexe réunit les propriétés discursives de or et de ça et renforce la valeur illocutoire de l’énoncé qu’il introduit. La comparaison des deux genres textuels a, par ailleurs, permis de faire ressortir les similitudes mais aussi les particularités que ce marqueur développe dans le théâtre, en lien avec la performance. |
