| Summary, etc. | The aim of our paper is to trace back the evolution of the verbal constructions dis voir, voyons voir and regarde voir, and, more specifically, to examine the origin of the element voir in each of the three markers. They are part of a paradigm of markers based on a first- or second-person imperative verb combined with the adverb voir: regarde voir, voyons voir, dis voir, but also écoute voir, montre voir, etc. On the basis of a corpus compiled from textual databases (Frantext, Sketch Engine, Gallica and theatreclassique.fr) we propose a distributional and semantic analysis of the three markers. We verify the origin and role played by the adverb voir. We explain the evolution of these three expressions through the lens of constructionalization theory. |

| Summary, etc. | L’objectif de notre article est de retracer l’évolution des constructions verbales dis voir, voyons voir et regarde voir puis de nous interroger sur l’origine du voir présent dans les trois marqueurs. Ils font partie d’un paradigme de marqueurs formés sur un verbe à l’impératif à la première ou deuxième personne combiné à l’adverbe voir – regarde voir, voyons voir, dis voir mais aussi écoute voir, montre voir, etc. Sur la base d’un corpus réalisé à partir de bases de données textuelles – Frantext, Sketch Engine, Gallica ou theatreclassique.fr – nous proposerons une analyse distributionnelle et sémantique des trois marqueurs. Puis, nous vérifierons l’origine et le rôle joué par l’adverbe voir. Les trois locutions ont connu une évolution que nous expliquerons à la lumière de la théorie de la constructionnalisation. |
